The Lycee International de Los Angeles - a School for the Future

In 1978 a small group of people recognized that life was becoming increasingly international. Because they wanted their children to be prepared to function well in that environment, they wanted a school that would provide the necessary education.

The Los Feliz Charter School For the Arts – it all started with a cup of coffee

Comedians may joke about neighbors getting together for coffee and gossip after the kids are off to school in the morning, but one such gathering back in 2004 led to an innovative charter school that now offers "whole-child" education to over 500 children in grades K through 6. HPK (Highland Park Kitchen) - A Welcome Addition to Highland Park's York Blvd

So I ventured out of Silver Lake for lunch in Highland Park with a friend recently.  If you have not yet been to HPK (Highland Park Kitchen), I highly recommend you give it a try.
